The ever lovely eliade drove me to see a potential room, and although charming, convenient and affordable, they had a tiny, sweet dog, and although the house was tidy and had wood floors, I was sneezing inside of twenty minutes. Poor Anna, too, suffered at the hands of cuteness-- allergies, oh, you're cruel. And all the cool kids have pets. Anyway, I was supposed to hear back about a job "in half an hour" this morning-- as that was at 8:30 A. PST, I'm not holding my breath. I am not inclined to nag the agency, as I'm sure they'd call if they had something available. I wonder why more of this friendslist isn't independently wealthy and capable of handing me an honest living on a silver platter. It's unconscionable, really. Lex Luthor would buy me a coffee bar to run as I saw fit; why not you? I'm just letting you know that I'm disappointed. In you. ::sigh::In other news, Clowntime Comics are 97% clown free and dare to soul-shock and body-rock your sweet-sided sugar canoe 'til the break-a di-awn. Here are some icons for those random days when the world is against you and your art! If you have wondered how I spend my days here in Vancouver, inapickle can tell you: I mostly walk around town and play with sticks. Well, that and prepare various meals with indifferent skill. Oh, and make icons. Sort of. It took me a shamefully long time to master a few basics of Adobe Photoshop, even with icon tutorials, but just as I'm getting the hang of it, the trial is about to run out. Still, I have managed to produce five shiny icons that I am reasonably proud of. Five. In twenty-six days. Okay, two of them are animated, but still. Go me!Tags: iconic I feel funny and my pants are: floaty the world is singing and it sounds like: Wig in a Box, Stephen Trask
